A LEGO Vignette is a small scene on a small base. Typically, a Vig' measures 8 studs by 8 studs, although objects can extend over the base to a degree if necessary. For a full description of what a Vignette is, check out this page on LUGNET.

I'm relatively new to Vignette creation, although thanks to my regular "Picture of the Day" and "Picture of the Week" images (most of which now form part of the "Strange Things in Tabletown" page) circa 1998-1999, I'm not new to creating odd or amusing scenarios with my LEGO.
