EVENT - STUART AND NAOMI'S HOUSE-FEST 19/01/08

Stuart Crawshaw and Naomi Farr were gracious enough to hold an "open weekend" at their LEGO-infested house for fellow members of the Brickish Association, and so I toddled along for one day to see what was what...here are some of the events that transpired that day.

A Vogon Constructor Ship (design by Louise Dade) orbits Huw Millington's LEGO Earth - this would form part of a fleet later in the year.

Richard James shows off his 1:1 scale Pulse Rifle from "Aliens".

Huw Millington's alien invasion scene. Nice foliage!

Just some of David Tabner's tan collection - all neatly built into one castle.

Housefest 2008
Upstairs in the LEGO room (the whole house was a LEGO room really) one of the main events - a large LEGO moonbase/launh pad thingy. Check out Peter Reid's ships!

Please excuse the dim lighting here, but as the day drew on, it got very dark - and thus the eternal dilemma, to use the flash and overexpose the lot, or not?

Stuart builds a SNOT landing pad to the right.

It's a busy spaceport to be sure...

It's Marvin the Paranoid Android, as seen in the TV series of HHGTG.

The Tabletown Army arrives...although clearly a helicopter wouldn't be able to fly on the moon. Now I'm confused.

Daleks!

And now, the Tabletown Army invades en masse!

It's all getting a bit hectic.

And so the day ended in bloodshed and mayhem. And it was all my fault. Cool.
