GRUNTS EPISODE 2

Grunts

<Previous Episode Next Episode>

Episode 2 of Grunts had a slightly modified format with regularised panel shapes and sizes but still with the logo off to the left. This then is the revamped version.

I wanted to demonstrate early on that the men in Grunts were generally either incompetent or insane - so the Doctor who tells the trooper he's pregnant was a good example of the sort of humour I would be using. This is also a story to be revisited in the future...more than once. I'm keen on long story arcs.

The appearance of the Doctor and the "pregnant" trooper caused confusion with at least one person as the heads are slightly similar - also, small bit of trivia here, Henshaw was originally named Mackenzie in this strip but that was changed following a later episode when I simply forgot that I'd ever given him a name and he ended up with a new one! Much panic ensued until I uploaded this modified strip.

Grunts episode 2 saw me still trying to settle into the style and format, hence some image errors here, there's that kitchen worktop again, but I was gradually getting there.
