Tabletown Talk

A day late, but hardly a dollar short. Useless sayings aside, it has indeed been awhile since we saw Redstorm and the 'ol couch. At least there's been the birthday, Gerald and the Atlantis comic to fill the hole.

This year we're introduced to Bobby Tom (aka Hillbilly Handyman), Finlay Blake, his dog Pantera Marvelous and an as yet unnamed Space Police III officer. Something else markedly different about this comic is the use of redneck-speak and Australian slang. If you're confused about what some of the Australian terms mean, you may look through this list here. I did want to introduce more new characters here, such as the alien breakdancer, an alien hooker and after more then three years, Old Man Jenkins from module 42. The alien hooker may never appear on NIS, as this is supposed to be a comic for all ages, but time will tell.

So just what is Finlay's beef with Bobby Tom? What murderer is the officer talking about? The answers to some of these questions, when NIS Season 3 returns next year!
