As some of you may be aware, I had another haul of LEGO today courtesy of TRU, so here is the first of four reviews tonight...

Set 8402, the Sports Car, is a £6.99 set.

Here is the box:

The whole set:

This is pretty good for a 7 quid set, the minifig's face is really nice with a sort of sardonic grin - cocky git - and the little telephone thingy is nice and fits in with other sets in this latest series of released. The car is OK, not awfully sporty looking IMO but then I don't know if it's got a 6 litre V12 under the bonnet or not. A tan seat might be better for this car to simulate leather or something.

I'll give it an 8 out of 10 as it's a cheap and cheerful set with some nice pieces.

Thanks!
HOORAH! A phone piece! I own none of them, so this is a must get for me.
Could you give the other prices, now?

Ahh, the smell of petrol mixed with plastic in the morning. I really like this set and the face is the perfect expression, cocky and full-of himself. I will almost certainly get this set. 10/10. :D

Thanks for the review Dr. S. :)
I like the simplicity of this set, but I wish that it would have been cheaper.
$10 for a set that only includes 1 minifig and 58 or so pieces? Battle packs are a better deal than this...

By the way, is the trans-orange 1 x 1 stud attached to the telephone stand thing with a grey or blue half-technic pin?

I don't know about Euro prices, but here are the US and Canada prices:
$9.99 USD
$12.99 CAD

Hey, yeah you're right! On the box there is a Lego tree! Where'd it go then?

I forgot to add it to the setup for the picture, I think it just got lost amongst a small forest I had on my desk.
