I dropped into TRU this evening and what did I spy on the shelf? A single copy of set 7641 - a set I didn't think was meant to be out until June at the earliest.

Needless to say, I bought it and here is my review.

Look! Double Cheesers! Under armed guard as they are the only two I own!

Thoughts:

This is a lovely set, perhaps a bit overpriced, but the bus is great and the buildings have lots of playability if they are a bit bare. I will however have to change the bus to a right hand drive one.

I'd give this set 7 out of 10.

Looks great. Thanks for the review.

I can see where one of the new double cheezers goes (bus driver's instrument cluster), but what about the other one ? Or is it a spare ?

Ta,
Ian

Wonder why it's out already! Either way, that looks rather good. I would say the bus is my favourite part, It's just all round rather really nice looking. The buildings could use some work, and also, do they fit with the bulding in 7633? If so, it seems that a new city modular line is upon us. Cool! Yeah, this set looks like one I will snag.

Yes, the main building is VERY much like the one in set 7633 - perhaps a whole new area of Tabletown needs to be developed.

Thanks for the review Dr. S! :)

Ten seats for a $50 set!
I like everything in this set, especially the bus. However, I'm not so sure about the shop; the stickers look "old-fashioned" to me...

Still, isn't that a good thing? A blast from the past to say. Wow, a whole spare sticker sheet.

The bus looks pretty cool, but I think I'll pass on this kit. The buildings just don't inspire me all that much.

Would be great to see a kit sold that just featured the bus.
