Doctor Sinister’s LEGO Blowout at Bluewater!

Posted by Doctor Sinister on June 26th, 2008 filed in LEGO, Life, Work

OK, so I decided, on a whim, to leave work early today and drive to Bluewater which is a MASSIVE shopping centre near London…and where there is a LEGO store!

I get 10% off all purchases because I am a member of the Brickish Association…and so with credit card in hand, here is my story!

Here she is – little do they know what is about to hit them (me).

The shop again – my own personal cathedral of worship.

You can see the Pick a Brick at the back behind the two lovely assistants.

The Brickish Association of which I am a member supplies MOCs for LEGO shops in the UK to display – this one is by Doug Idle. LEGO Doctor Sinister spent some time incarcerated here at a show once.

I spent so much I instantly got £15.00 of vouchers. Needless to say they were gone 30 seconds later – I took a picture for posterity.

A crystal skull in the window – made of LEGO naturally.

My haul immediately outside the LEGO shop – it was bloody heavy.

Image

After my LEGO blowout I headed to a restaurant over the other side of the shopping centre where my LEGO and I took up a whole booth. This was my pudding.

Home at last – loads of stuff here.

I’m now about £300.00 lighter in the pocket. I feel kind of sick…
