I have utterly failed…

I am sad to report that I did not get the Manager’s job that I’ve been working towards lately. My only consolation is that the feedback from all, including the bloke that did get it, was that I gave a bloody good interview. Also, they delayed the decision because they simply could not choose between us. Except of course…they eventually did.

This news, combined with something else, means that I am having a very bad day. Not sure what to do with myself now. I have failed.

    Don’t worry mate. At least you’re not in the US job market! ‘Sides managerial jobs suck. Too much responsibility. You’ll pull through.

    Don’t worry, you obviously gave a very good interview. What was that other thing? I hope i’m not intruding.
    And don’t think you have failed, that just makes you feel worse. I don’t think you have failed at all, failure means your job interview was rubbish. You cam 2nd.
